Everything you need to know about eligibility, categories, deadlines, and how judging works.
Individuals, teams, and organisations of any size are welcome to apply, provided the nominated work falls within one of our award categories and meets the eligibility criteria published for that category.
We recognise achievement across four categories: the Global Individual Award, the Small/Medium Projects Award, the Large/Mega Projects Award, and the Research Award. Each category has its own evaluation criteria.
Application fees vary by category and are published alongside the category details before each submission window opens. Fee waivers may be available for select categories — contact our team for details.
Submission windows are announced on the News page each year. We recommend starting your application early, as extensions are not guaranteed once a deadline has passed.
Yes. If your work qualifies under multiple categories, you're welcome to submit a separate application for each one.
Every submission is reviewed by an independent panel of assessors against a published set of criteria. Finalists are shortlisted first, and winners are selected from among the finalists.
Finalists and winners are announced on our News page and celebrated at the annual awards gala. Category-specific timelines are shared directly with applicants after judging concludes.
Attendance is encouraged but not required. Winners who are unable to attend will still receive full recognition, and arrangements can be made to deliver awards separately.
A short project or achievement summary, relevant supporting evidence (reports, media, or documentation), and contact details for a primary point of contact are typically sufficient — the application form will guide you through what's needed.
